The background here is way washed out. That is kind of distracting from the girl. Pretty baby blues though! Your focus and clarity are great. Lighting on the girl is also great. The angle and framing/cropping is ok, I would have liked to have seen her whole head though. Otherwise, nice shot. Good luck in the challenge.

This look too much like a snapshot. You need to get onto the same level as the subject (unless you have a specific reason for an unusual angle). The lighting on the subject is good, if a little cold. The railings in the background are annoying, I'd have tried to move the subject in front of something more interesting.

I think a vertical crop that showed more of her head and less of her shoulders would have been more effective at showing her eyes. Otherwise a nice shot, and I like that she has a natural expression on her face!
