I think this is a beautiful shot! The only thing I would change is our depth of field, to blur the buildings in the background, but that's just a very minor nitpick!

Challenge: You met the challenge perfectly while adding alot of color and depth!

Technique: Very creative and a good eye! I like how the egg is off-centered, and the lighting you used is very good. There is a slight tilt to the image that could be corrected simply by using a tripod. The shadows add a lot of great effects as well.

Overall: A great photo that shows your creativity and eye for style. There were so many great submissions in this challenge, so your score is commendable! Great shot - not much here to really critique! =)

This looks like an abstract painting. That could be construed as good or bad depending on context. In this case, I think it works both ways. It makes it unique and artsy, but also muddy and unclear. Good capture whichever way you take the abstract comment.

Very pretty abstract. I don't know what it is but I see an eleven. It doesn't matter to me that I can't identify this. Actually I like this kind of abstract. I do look forward to you revealing the identity.
Great colors. There is a bit of grain, and I suppose you'll take some heat for that. Doesn't bother me any.

While I do like the bare trees, it seems incongreous (sp) with the bridge and far background. You might want to revisit your frame again, too. The white to white edges just don't work well for me. 5 Swash
