Timeless Youthby dodobirdComment by stephan: If people couldn't see something they really should fix their monitor settings. I can see your son very good. And I like your technique! It makes the photo interesting. The face of your son expresses a somewhat darker mood and the very dark lighting goes with that. |

Timeless Youthby dodobirdComment by mci: very dark. i think this kind of photography is all about contrast and areas of very bright light to highlight the contours and shapes of the subject. this loses all of that by using a very low, flat light which doesn't really set the subject apart from the background. 3. |

Bale'n Hayby dodobirdComment by Fayech: i think a little more contrast/saturation to bring out the colors would make this image stronger. |

Timeless Youthby dodobirdComment by adine: This pic intrigues me. The thumbnail looks almost all black. I enjoy seeing the face appear out of the darkness when I see it close. You get a lot of detail for such little light, but it is still just too dark for me. |

Timeless Youthby dodobirdComment by marbo: I like that you can only just see him. A lot will say too dark but it`s very deliberate.9 Message edited by author 2003-06-27 12:32:29. |
