I like the colors in the background--good bokeh. But it looks as though the shot may have been overexposed...the highlights on the bird are a little blown out.

The lighting seems a little flat and the focus seems a little soft. Also, the centered placement of the post makes the image feel very static. I would also recommend placing the horizon higher in the frame, perhaps by getting closer to the post.

Creativity = 1.5 (great use of DOF)
Composition = 0.5

Focus = 0 (your subject is out of focus)

Just a tad soft in spots, and it would be more pleasing with the bird less centered. But nice work - 7!
