good interpretation on the subject, but as usual , often out of the box shots get hammered.

as for the picture itself, i think the only thing that would have been better is more light on the left side of the model's face.

on another note, great portfolio!

It really takes a good photographic eye to see photos like this. Most people would drive by this bend in the road seeing the barn and think I should take a picture of that. But you have cpatured the barn in all of its splendor as well as that curve in the road and the contrasting house across the street.

This is really a great photo.

This is a very peaceful photograph, the red of the barn plays off of the blue sky perfectly. The gorgeous clouds just add the perfect finishing touch.

I don't think this is a dichomtomy - I don't see the conflict. The composition and subjects are interesting. The unpleasant color cast does not add to the photo's impact. 5

I only gave a small handful of 10s in this challenge, but this was one of them. Not sure what the overall reaction for DPC voters will be, but I love this, from the old fashioned coloring to the subject matter.
