Autumn land 2.jpgby bvlindalouComment by skylercall: I agree with Shevoya. It would be better without the yellow border. I think the problem is that it is brighter than the yellow in the leaves. It you really want a colored border I would sample a color from one of the leaves or from the tree trunks. That should make it less distracting. |

Fort Pipe Springsby bvlindalouComment by bvlindalou: Originally posted by sacredspirit: Wow, wanna know something wierd? I found myself really intrigued somehow into this photo, after staring at it for a bit, and never really knowing what was holding my attention, I realized October 4, my youngest sons birthday. Just a coincidince, but a cool one nonetheless.
As for the photo, it is very, very cool, but again I can't put my finger on why I like it so much. The colors, and clarity for starters, but something else...I dunno. Nice job. |
just a coincidince. I was going to enter this in the October free study but chickened out. This is my 4th edit on it. This was taken at Pipe Springs Fort in AZ. The last tour of the day and the light was great. |

Wheel line wheelby bvlindalouComment by mist: Okay, revisted and I suppose this could be a field with some kind of contraption in it designed to gather something that you sell. Maybe. In which case it deserves points for wild composition. |

country-road-sunset.jpgby bvlindalouComment by bvlindalou: Originally posted by MelonMusketeer: Nice scene, and the headlights sort of put you in the passenger's seat. I like the frame. No info with the pic. Where is this? |
I was chasing the sunset with my new camera xti. I could not find a site and the sunset was fading fast, so I just stopped along side of the road. I used my headlights for effect. You can just see the pinons on the left. I used my zoom lense to get them. Thanks for you comment
