I'm intrigued as to how this effect was achieved under the basic editing rules - a bit of vaseline on a filter? The composition really appeals to me, although I maybe like it more as a graphic image than as a photograph.

This is nice, really cool vision. The two look so much alike that for some reason my mind doesn't see family. My mind goes out of its way to see this as being 1 mom replicated to both sides of her baby. Like sheltering the young. GL, I hope you understand the comment, and its helpful. It may be the sort of bias that says a Dad must be taller, and bigger, and these two are just so equal.
