I like this shot in general. From a stock POV the noise and exposure might be a problem but the pose and look is good. NI might help with the noise abit and a reedit to bring out a bit more brightness and contrast could be good. Do you shoot in RAW? Exposure compensation is pretty easy in RAW.

Obviously there aren't enough crafty types at DPC - I know exactly what you were after with this. Good clarity, good composition. Might be just a tad lacking in contrast but not sure it could be increased on this particular shot without changing the lighting a bit. What I think hurt you scorewise more than anything was the audience's lack of familiarity with the subject matter.

I like the expressions and body language telling a story here. A little dark but it's tough to balance snow and dark animals.

Entrancing? Is that a new word? I'll have to look it up. :D The lighting on this is quite harsh and overexposed. Good thing this pony has a good coat of fur, it looks cold outside! As for an 'Entrance'...hmmm. Well, good luck in the challenge.

Good clarity on the colored yarn. Don't really understand the title or how this is a match, though, which probably hurt your score somewhat.

As a photo on its own, though, I like the lines and the diagonal of the colored yarn. It reminds me of a sampler from my wife's ancestor. With a brightly-colored frame to contrast with the muted tones, it'd probably look pretty nice. :)
