Too me the snake acts almost as a leading line to the model. The model appears to me as your main subject, she is taking up much more room of the frame then your pet subject. I found the manicure on the models hands distracting form the snake. The white stands out and drew my eye on that side. Overall, a very nice picture.

Nice composition. Good black background and lighting on the foreground. Coming back after looking at the rest to add this is one of the best. Very unique, scary for us arachnophobiacs [edit: make that Ophiophobiacs] and showing a great connection between your two subjects. I assume she isn't afraid of snakes. Excellent job. Sorry I'm not voting in this one.
