Great job! The tonal qualities and overall color in this photo is very nice. What a nice way to spend the night, in this kind of beauty. However, a water shot, or even a shoreline shot, does not always mean 'beach' in my opinion. And meeting the challenge, to me, is the first and most important thing, if that isn't done, then anything else is unimportant. Doesn't mean it's not a beautiful and creative shot, because in this case, it absolutely is! I do love it! I went back and forth on how to score your pic, but I do vote low for those that I don't think meet the challenge, but because it's a nighttime shot, in silhoutte, it's hard to tell if there is a beach involved here or not, so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. I'm raising my original score from a 4 to a 6.

This works well and I like the toning. The lines from the clouds and the spit seem to draw the viewer in to the central subject. Very nice.
