To Warm Her Heartby fotomann_foreverComment by DrAchoo: Composition is excellent. I like the crop a lot and I love her wistful look. The sepia is restrained, although I'd like to see a B&W as well to judge whether I like it better. Perhaps the sepia is not the proper tone for her skin. I'm glad the flowers don't jump out in a blast of color. They are subtle, although there are plenty here who do not like selective desat at all. The biggest issue is the highlight on her right breast. It is blown enough that we lack any definition. If you stare long enough you can fool yourself that there is no breast there at all. There is also a small smudge or shadow at the lower edge that distracts because the eye keeps asking "is that a nipple or not?" |

To Warm Her Heartby fotomann_foreverComment by Tej: Greetings from the DPC Critique Club!
...and I really did not do anything special to get all you images for critique :)
Well...I'll keep this one simple. I'm not too sure on whats the subject here - Flowers or model. But for sure - the presence of model in background enhances the presence of flower. Btw, I checked your other photos and I really envy you for getting hold of such gorgeous model. Coming back, somehow this is more of a flower picture because of the strong colors. Also if you carefully look at the model breast (ehm..;)), you can see it to be over-exposed (strictly in photographic terms :)) and details are burnt out. For this to be model picture the focus need to be sharp on face or any other "interesting" body part need to be center of (eye) focus.
Overall a interesting picture. The setting seems to be good and offers potential of even better photo ...maybe with different angle or crop. |

Cool Bluesby fotomann_foreverComment by Tej: Greetings from the Critique Club!
..What are the odds of getting photos from same uses in consecutive days? :) Anyway, here I am ..doing critique for you again.
Aesthetic: Its a pleasing picture. Blue is soft and "smoke" (?) looks good. But the subject is not very "interesting" to me.
Technical: Seems to be well exposed. I feel deeper depth of field would have been much better.
Challenge: Fit the challenge. Period.
Conclusion: Overall an average composition. The subject is not very interesting. In such cases quality of composition or angle of capture really need to be "exclusive" to make it "impactful" picture. User use of different shade of blue, from regulars, has added a lot to the photo. Also focus also lacs sharpness but you still have a picture which can be worked upon in Photoshop.
I normally add my standard ending text, but since I have already done critique for you .. I'll skip it this time :)
Wish you a great day!
