Centuries Oldby Nikonian NinjaComment by gaurawa: It looks too dark, you seem to be missing the bright zones. It always helps to use the histogram to make sure you cover the range well. |

Running For Your Lifeby Nikonian NinjaComment by Nikonian Ninja: actually, the black spot is an oversight. was so busy trying to get the feel of it right that i didnt take that out. It is a thick vine hanging down.
thanks for the comments. will help me improve next time. |

In the Calm of Nightby Nikonian NinjaComment by Jaded_Housewife: i like the point of view here, and the foggy nature of this. very nice. i'd clone out the horizontal line at the back of the photo though i think thats whats drawing my eye back there and away from the bench. |

Running For Your Lifeby Nikonian NinjaComment by Jaded_Housewife: i agree about the black spot being distracting. also for some reason it gives me the opposite impression of your title. to me it seems more like the view of being pulled back quickly causing the blur. |

In the Calm of Nightby Nikonian NinjaComment by SDW: Nice shot and effect but the subject is not strong enough to hold my attention. My eyes want to keep going toward the light. Maybe some dodge on the bench would help. Still a good shot with nice focus and composition.
Keep up the good work.

Running For Your Lifeby Nikonian NinjaComment by SDW: This has a good effect. The only thing distracting to me is the black smudge on the left side by the pillars. I would consider cloning it out.
Great job! |
