The Face Of Celebration.by shirin_patelComment by Plachoochi: The positioning of the subject is more visually interesting than if centered. The color saturation is good as well. I do think that the focus on the face is a bit too soft. |

The Face Of Celebration.by shirin_patelComment by Commando303: I don't see it: where the hell is the lens cap? Sorry if I'm just missing it, but you get a "1" (maybe you meant to submit this to the "Member Challenge," "Environmental Portrait"). |

The Face Of Celebration.by shirin_patelComment by Techo: Fail to see the lenscap, as an overall image it's not too bad though. Nice color and eyes seem sharp but some of the other elements in the image or not. Perhaps there's some motion blur. |

The Face Of Celebration.by shirin_patelComment by saracat: Not trying to be mean, just explaining the low vote: DNMC - no lens cap.
Seems like this should have been in the environmental portrait challenge. If it had been, it would have gotten a 5 with this comment: this looks a little out of focus, perhaps due to being hand-held with a long-ish exposure. The vertical crop is a bit tight for my taste. The colors are great, and I like the diagonals made by the flutes(?). I like the intesity of the gaze, I just wish it were a little crisper. |
