Impressive and wonderful post processing, very emotional, one step beyond macro photography :)
Its interesting how damsels and dragonflies can generate, in the right season, exactly the same shot opportunities and sometimes very similar images, at least as for the composition.
Not the first time I see that happen :)

Based on your title...when my daughter also said this....."Waiting for the next party...." when I asked her.... "What ARE you doing?" when she was pouting...at our kitchen table...at the age of 5...and I pretty much figured out she had SO many party invitations...and was waiting for the next birthday party...so be it...in these days of indulgent entertainment I will honor your title...SPOILED children...mostly girls...otherwise.....I hope you have fun dressing up...with somewhere to go....oh yeah!!!! Aren't you lucky....Life is GOOD..... and as a mother I SAY be careful....but ENJOY...SAFELY!!!!
