It looks like a lucky grab. I don't know how much she likes this, but it is a cute expression. Definitely not your standard portrait. It's a little washed out on the left side and it would be nice to see her mouth in the DOF.

THe photo is very nice, but not 'GREAT'. it is lacking the emotion that the title portrays as 'link to the past'. Yes it is old, but even a person standing in front as a silhouette may have envoked a bit more powerful emotion. The texture on the walls is great and the lines throughout are nice too. Overall, it is very good image quality too.
