Very gritty, I love the way that even in B&W it conveys a hot sticky day, and the tattoo adds an extra level of interest.

Actually a nice contemplative portrait. Great DOF. I like the choice of going B&W, helps the "mood." I think just a little bit of adjustment on the composition so that the edge of the right side of her hair/head were completely in the photo would have been better. Also, a totally personal preference would be to have her lips together/mouth closed. But thats just me. Nice portrait, good luck.
