The only issue I have is the choice of background,,,,this shot would have really popped with a better contrast in background and those red lips....IMHO.

The colours are beautiful, I like the square (or almost square) crop, and it's quite interesting to have all those stripes there. I am not so sure if the selectively soft focus works in this instance, but I'm having trouble figuring out why. Hmmmm. Maybe it's because of the bubbles and other distortions, they make the whole thing look slightly messy, and my eyes are having trouble figuring out what to look at. I don't know. This lamp is worth many more experiments.

Love the sharp edge contrasted to the out of focus other part. The choice of orange on red is quite gutsy.

Great colours! Again I would have to say this would look better with a slightly more of the lamp in focus, as it is with just the first few parts in focus the viewer isn't led into the shot my eye kind of stops once the pictures gets out of focus...just my opinion :o)
