I like the DOF and the rich deep coloration. Nicely focused. I hate it that the pattern of the chair conflicts, but with animals, what can you do? I think I might have cropped just to the left of the left cheek as the paw isn't a necessary aspect to the shot. Too bad you can't clone out the plaid. LOL 6

I love cats , I can't imagine my life without them and grey ones have something special.
This one is simply fantastic , relaxed but with the eyes opened to see what's happening around him/her.
What I like in this photo : of course the pose , the focus , the cushion (or blanket) that gives contrast because of its color and adds a diagonal element and the way you have used lights and shadows.

IMHO this could do with being a little more in focus but I love the angle, texture, detail and colours here. Definitely something you should take a few more shots of! :o)
