A Half Pound of Tomatoesby signal2noiseComment by DrAchoo: You were robbed. I would have scored this much higher. The only beef would be possibly a somewhat darker background to help separate the scale face. BTW, "stepped up sharpness and saturation on the camera along with setting the WB as Tungsten (+3). Shot in Raw" is a little funny because shooting in RAW ignores all the other things you mentioned in that line. |

Graffiti Siloby signal2noiseComment by JeffDay: I think this could of done better with more dramatic lighting, the sky and the front of the building is a bit flat. I might of cropped the bottom off a bit too |

Golden Gate Bridgeby signal2noiseComment by JeffDay: We've all seen this bridge photographed, but I like what you have done with the lighting, has an nice moody, eerie look and feel to it, good job |

Classic Redheadby signal2noiseComment by JeffDay: I think the pose here works well, a pretty subject with a very natural expression, again your focus is very good, enjoy the complimentary colors (her red hair and the greenish background) |

Thanks Dad!by signal2noiseComment by JeffDay: Selective desaturation has its place but I am not usually a big fan. In this case I don't feel it adds anything to the image. Would of liked this one better in just B&W. The focus is spot on, very crisp. The car in the background is a bit distracting, especially the front windowshield. Overall a good capture.
Wanted to add the B&W conversion is very good, great tones Message edited by author 2007-08-07 17:36:10. |
