Well, I think the subject is probably what limited you. It looks like you did a very straightforward presentation of what you wanted to present. That's not bad, but it also doesn't give us any "wow". The B&W conversion could have been done a bit better I bet. Look for tutorials (I think we have some here) on B&W conversion techniques. There is so much more that you could do than Mode>Grayscale.

One thing going for the shot is the focus is tack sharp on the coin. That was nicely done and sharpness is very important on this site.

What I like: The punch of the coin in the image is pleasant. I like the braclet on the wrist. The B&W works well. Square frame/composition looks great.

What I didn't like: I'm being picky, but the title is really long with a ton of small words in it.

Unfortunately I don't think this photo get's across your idea very well. I see someone holding a coin showing us the tail side. I don't see a coin laying with the tail side up or someone picking up a coin with a tailside up. The hand is not even holding the coin (with the fingers) as if they had just picked it up. The technical aspects of the shot are fine, just getting the idea across seems to be lacking.

Technically speaking it's a good picture, my one nitpick being the bit of leg (?) in the corner, and it does definitely fit the challenge but it's just very static and, if viewed beyond the narrow boundaries of a challenge, rather boring, IMO. Not putting it down, just giving one reason why it may not get a top score :)
