The leaves on top rigth bother me quite a bit. But I love all the details and patterns -- the roof, the walls, the bark. Wonderful! Agree with dtremainand wronp about tighter crop.

Well...3 things here Noise, Noise and more Noise. It doesn't help that there is impurities in the water to help magnify the noise. It really creates a distracting picture. You had the right idea don't get me wrong. Composition puts the bird in the strong middle of the shot. Tough to do unless there is something strong enough to place it dead center. The lighting is too harsh and caused blown highlites. You could have panned back a bit and cought the reflection of the bird and maybe had something. Sorry this shot doesn't do much for me. Keep trying though I've seen your other work and your very good. I was wondering why you didn't go for BW with this shot??? It would have done much better.
