River Rock Reflectionby cogeroxComment by tinky2: Pretty place and terrific reflections. That green water and the stones in the back give it an ancient feel, like an old ruin site or something. Cool pic. |

Rock Creek Power Stationby cogeroxComment by tnun: Very complex photo. POV and delivery of detail make it almost surreal; station stands out in a dark natural scape - dark trees, dark green blue river, slatey blue rocks on either side, all great elements. And so strong and sufficient in themselves that I would crop that bit of sky and sunlit treetops, or subdue them, although I know they provide context. |

Rock Creek Bridgeby cogeroxComment by ErikV: Great parallel lines -- train, road/bridge, & reflection of bridge. (Might consider cloning out the electric lines up top.) |

Rock Creek Power Stationby cogeroxComment by cogerox: Originally posted by KarenNfld: Good composition. Is that steam coming from under the station? It looks like water with a slow shutter, but the rest of the water doesn't have the same look. |
That's not steam. It's high volume, high velocity water coming through the turbine to create electricity. Notice the pipes going up the hill behind the building? Those are carrying water dowm to the turbine from a higher source. |
