The different textures between the water and the sky are outstanding in this shot. Wonderful sillhouette of the bird as well. The light coming through the clouds really ties the photo together, as well as the bit of dark orange in the upper left. Nicely done!

This is a really pretty image and quite moody. I may be missing something here, but I can't quite make out what the blur is on the left center? I can see that it would have been difficult to crop out because then the highlight of the water wouldn't have been bounded on both sides by dark and would have spoiled the compositional balance.

I love how the seagull is flying into the light beam.

Oh Wow! I gasped when I first saw this. It's gorgeous. It's the kind of exotic, beautiful scene that makes people like me -- who live in scenery challenged places not want to even enter challenges like this -- but of course I did anyway and am kind of suffering for it too :) Everything about this is beautiful. The light rays, the colors on the water, the lone bird flying in the light. It's just awesome.
