I think this could be an interesting shot of the things on the beach. Unfortunately, they are too far away to see what they are. IMO, the sky could have been almost entirely cropped out. For me, the lens cap is also too small to be a focal point (if that's the intention).

Lovely landscape and there is a lens cap. The challenge was to have the cap be the main subject. That's where I think this one falls short.

Nice idea, if you were at a standing a little lower it would make the lens cap more prominent. Your lens cap is almost lost in the shot due to how small and location compared to the landscape.

looks like a lonely lens cap, I hope you don't get hammered for throwing your lens cap into a landscape, but I like this photo, it reminds me of some independent film I saw where this girl took this plastic knome with her all over the world and took pictures of it in each place (I think that's where travelocity got their knome idea), but good photo overall, maybe a more dramatic sky would help it out, or a close up perspective of the lens with the landscape in the back, nice job
