Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 9s - I like it a lot. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Bold-as-you-like posing.
2. It's superbly lit and exposed.
3. The softness of the artefacts.
4. The oddness of the scene.

I like unusual portraits - and this is a great one.

Flat out fantastic work - I would hang that on my wall. It tells a story, it compels you to question, and it's technically wonderful. I especially like the detail of the bulb in the lampshade.

* The lighting of girl's face, was a symbolic after I wanted to show the optimism.

I hope you don't mind I wanted to see if I could get that face looking like I envisioned. I made a new layer, grabbed some color from her arm and overlayed it and did some other hue tweaking. Hope you don't mind.
