Depressionby ArtifactsComment by PhantomEWO: Great pic, took one very similar last week in New Mexico from last years fire. Maybe a little dark. Good score |

Depressionby ArtifactsComment by ergo: nice shot, and yes, it's depressing. I like the details and textures in the foreground very much. 9 |

Depressionby ArtifactsComment by SandyP: Very dramatic. Since I absolutely LOVE the forrests and trees, a scene like this always does depress me. I think you made a good choice of conveying a depressive emotion. |

Depressionby ArtifactsComment by vbd70: good, moody BW. more than depression, though, desolation would be my idea of the conveyed mood |

Depressionby ArtifactsComment by Philos: Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.
In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.

Depressionby ArtifactsComment by aznym: Very out of this world image. It's beautiful and I want to stare at the this image for a few minutes, but it gets depressing as I start to look around. Most excellent work. |

Depressionby ArtifactsComment by mpemberton: This is very good. A different interpretation of emotion because it reflects back at the users emotion. That is a plus and minus. I can see to many living thins around to convey true depression. To many objects give it a scattered feeling, would of been better for me if it were the tree right of center compared against the rest of th trees. The whites seem to strong vs the Grays and stand out. This is all my opinion after all. I think this would of been better in colour with a single target for the emotional aspect. 6. |
