I hate turning blueby Ragga2000Comment by jaysonmc: *Critique Club*
Initial Impressions: Great stylized blue portrait.
Composition: Great use of the entire frame. I like the fact you can see the whole arm. You also created some wonderful lines with the arm and the fingers. The pinky in line with wrinkles with the forehead is terrific. I like how the subject is looking down, but still engaging the viewer. I think I might have preferred a bit more depth in the fingers, yet keeping the body the same. Overall composition is nearly perfect.
Technicals: Sharpness is great as well as the contrast. Blue tint is perfect on the subject though it seems to bleed a bit on the top. Also isolating the white ( a slight blue tinge) on the bandanna would have added a bit. Maybe a little brightness enhancement in the whites of the eyes. Still technically it is quite good.
Overall: A wonderful picture that really evokes the emotion of hate. A nice score for an outstanding picture. Congrats.

Icy Abyssby Ragga2000Comment by Dantzr: Great photo! Before I saw the people on the rock on the left, it was a great picture. Now, I can hear it, see it and feel it! Excellent! |
