It took me a long time to find the hat. This seems more about the mountains (or glaciers?) than the hat.

I know what you were trying to achieve here but I don't think it quite worked. For one the shape of the hat is not that well defined merging into botyh the sky and rock. Also there is a real lack of detail in the scene with the foreground a little out of focus and over exposed.

It was a good idea, and the landscape is very nice, perhaps had you used a tripod and not used flash the image might have been a little more successful.

I like the idea and the overall photo! Maybe because the photo is a bit small, I feel like the textures & tones are all competing with eachother - making it a bit confusing. I hope this is helpful.
