Thankyou all for ur comments. It feels nice to see this make the top 10. On how this was done.....the setup is just one diagonal of pencils interleaved at the tip. I set the camera to long exposure and exposed the pencil tips alone using a flashlight. I moved the setup a little in both horizontal and vertical direction and then exposed the pencil tips again. Repeat this a few times.
