I'm not sure what comes in a little short of really grabbing me with this one. Maybe it is the centered composition, or the nearly blown highlights. It may just need some massaging to bring out all that great texture.

Very nice. I like the texture and the way the light appears on the ground.

This is a GREAT POV!! really cool here. The colors, the interest that keeps leading you further in to each door is also great!
This is really picky I know but the light on the bricks seems distracting. What I mean is the shape of the door needs to be there but if the color or intensity of that light would be changed then , in my humble opinion this photo if a perfect shot of this. Just my opinion, thanks for showing us this!

I wish the colors were way more saturated in this, I bet it originally had a great red pop to it. Not it just seems kind of dark and blah.

My first thought is what happen to the color's? It could have use some help in PS, adjusting the saturation to increase the color would have helped. Did you use a ND filter?

Comment by Teafran:
Crisp and sharp which is a major plus. Lots of details, good angle which shows off the linear nature of the times and roof, but showing off the squarish shape of the curves of the building face. The author took time to do the best job in difficult lighting as the highlights are right on the edge of being over done. Unfortunately, the saturation is underwhelming and with the flat undetailed sky, it is not as attractive as it could have been. A worthy entry into the challenge.
