Comment by Kaizer:
The colour saturation in this shot really is great. Looking at your camera settings (and cosidering the other comments re DOF) you definitely have room for a smaller F-stop and slower shutter speed, which in turn will increase DOF... Perhaps on the P or AV modes.
Just remember the tripod :)
Like the composition too.

BTW, happen to watch the Rugby on Sat past?

I don't know but I really like this. I keep humming the Beatles' song.

Nice frame. Yeah, there could be more negative space, but I hardly notice his feet. It's that face.............

I, on the other hand, really like seeing the background there. It tells me a story about the pottery. Without it, I would find them a lot less interesting. I like the contrast of the earthy, red colors vs the blue water and green trees.

One hint, Morty - we're a nosy bunch and appreciate seeing the details re lens and settings, as well as any other info/background you could share in the photographer's comments - on EVERY photo!

wow, nice photo, you're probably noticing that I have a thing for a little looser crop... lol... (maybe a little more room above the left side ear) everything else looks perfect
