Density = mass over volume - tends to be more on the physics side of things than chemistry. I think the overall idea was good and the props nice and genuine - but you need to work on the composition.

this works for me because there's enough leaves to make a complete canopy. Nice greens throughout. the trunk is not great but the leaves make up the difference. 6

I think the negative space works against you here as does the overabundance of middle gray tones. Some highlights, even if just light gray, would add some much needed contrast and spark to this shot. I also wouldn't be afraid of centering the subject here as I think it would work well. Nice work.

Unfortunately, others had this idea too, but I'll judge this image on it's own. Nice composition and use of neg. space. The lighting is a touch flat. I wish her fingers weren't fisted.
