Hi Kiwi...

This is a good documentary style photo. I think this is is a perfect example of what I would expect to see coupled with an article about this bird in a bird magazine or encyclopedia.

The unique color on this bird makes the photo attractive. The curves and colors definitely work well together in this composition. The shallow depth of field also nicely separates the subject from the background.

Technically, this photo has a few issues that I can't really explain. There is some artifacting along the top of the photo in the blurred background and there appears to be a 'ghost' around the beak... it could be from shooting through glass or something similar... not sure :)

The colours are beautiful. The font (letters) go well with the picture. My one "negative" comment, I wish there were no shadow on the grass at the bottom right hand side of the picture.

Other than the bright spots where the sun is direct on, this is great. The color is well done, greens are green and blues are blue. the color is suprising given the brightness and muted color if the building.
