Something Lost in Translationby raishComment by jaysonmc: Raish, I like the message here. Yes it works for the challenge. However, I think this is the other extreme. This image is more about the challenge than photography. It's just a picture of an Ad, as such it is the same as a Xerox.
Unless you did do some "post" or "setup" here. I just don't see it, there aren't any details so I am just left with my initial opinion.
Now if this is a work in photography, then it is truly a work of art, reminiscent of Warhol. Put little tid bits that look like pop art, but still make it a photo.
Thing is I gave you a "5" for the concept alone. It would be interesting to see if you could stage this in real life with an added border, then you would have gotten a 10 from me. |
