Ouvrez la Cage aux Oiseauxby raishComment by raish: It's badly focussed, badly processed and I can see a couple of things I could do if I did a re-shoot. Those are fundamental flaws that come from my using too little time and energy to make the picture.
I left the diagonal rotation lines in for fun.
The cage is, in fact, open. The duck was originally the back of a hairbrush but decoy ducks are popular ornaments in a lot of places, I think. The cage, the cage being open, the alluded song and the kitschy brass photo-frame are all elements of popular culture, though none of them directly belong to the USA or Western Europe.
Thanks for all the votes and comments.

Ouvrez la Cage aux Oiseauxby raishComment by Brookied: i like the idea, not a fan of the outcome though, i think better use on the DOF would result in a better image, also the colours seem flat, The background does not help either. |

"Presidential adviser are you within?" "Oh yes, kind sir, I sit and spin." U-hby raishComment by Brookied: OK first comment, I am not really a fan of this pic, I can see the Political connections fine but the set up for me is wrong. It just seems very flat in appearance, also the light dark divide is very harsh, the vase at the rear of the photo is also misplaced.
I would say i like the thinking behind the shot, your imagine is very good much better than mine and with that and a little time i can see some stunning scores coming your way
