I like the composition of this -- it really attracts and "leads" the eye. Some of the textures seem to be *gone,* though -- noise reduction, maybe?

Beautifully scene shot! Love the context perhaps one of my favorites just for the scene. Nicely done composition. You probably suffered from voters do to the contrast issue. A minor suggestion would to use fill flash to even out the exposure. But I'm too lazy/busy to take around my own flash half the time. Still I think this is a standout photo and should have scored higher just for the context related to the challenge.
