I-coulda-been-a-horse-at-Arromancheby raishComment by raish: The view from my third/fourth floor window in Oslo is here replaced by a view of the remains of the temporary port that was made at Arromanche for the D-day landings and subsequent logistic support. I-coulda-been-a-horse-at-Arromancheby raishComment by Melethia: This is the view from your window?? I'm incredibly envious. Lovely light, and sorry the cat hasn't been to France but it looks so incredibly comfortable right where it is. The sparkle of whiskers is wonderful. |

Where the Streets Have No Nameby raishComment by MaryO: I don't see a definitive Waldo but maybe I'm not looking in the right places. There are certainly lots of possible hiding spots. Interesting POV; would like a bit more color/definition in the sky and clouds. |

Where the Streets Have No Nameby raishComment by Bruce_the_Robert: I really like the subtle colors in this shot, all of them pale, nothing too bright. To catch a street at this time of day (which looks mid-morningish or early afternoon) with no people on it is a great catch, and the composition works well for me. I might have tried to use perspective correction to get the buildings on the right straight, as the leaning is a bit troublesome to me (but I might have botched that if I had tried, I don't do that very well). |

Where the Streets Have No Nameby raishComment by jonfrommk: I am sure there is a waldo in there, but I cant find him, so well hidden you! Nice streetscape although iys a bit unfortunate that your positioning means that the street light is a bit of a distraction as it hits a rule of third point |
