Very good focus on the eyes, and I like the shallow DOF at 1.4. I think a curves adjustment would have made the contrast better and boosted the whites of Wesley. If you look at the histogram there probably won't be many pixals on the highlight side. Also, as nice as the eyes are I would like to see a really tight crop where the entire frame was filled with just Wesley.

Here's a cutie. I used to have a short hair white cat with Blue eyes. As far as the photo, you did a much better job with the focus on week 2. The eyes are very sharp. The black background and white subject works very well together. Keep up the good work!
