Your background is a bit of a distraction from your subject

I wish the background were a solid color. The background here is distracting from the subject.

This would have been much nicer if you would have used a white background (so that it would be black in the negative). The patterned curtain takes away from the subject. A solid black backgroud in the negative would really make the flowers stand out.

Heh. Cute. A polarizer may have cut the reflection some, or perhaps you could have shot it at a different time of day. It's a nice capture of a welcome moment. 6

This looks like a ebay listing to me. Not much thought seems to have gone into the background and setting. There isn't much of a visual connection between the old bottles and the glass.

Lovely expression. For me it would have been even better with a bit of saturation and contrast boost, as well as leveling the uprights of the window.

This is a lovely shot .. a couple of issues that would help score better ... straightening the image .. using the window frames to create the line ... a little more post processin - decrease the brightness add a little contrast may help. I like the composition .. it doesn't follow the rules perfectly but I like to break rules :)

Nice idea and pretty well laid out, but I feel the contrast isn't quiet there.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Childen at a playground are just too easy to capture for a candid. This is more of a nice stop-action shot then a candid to me. I want to see face or more emotion given in the overall feel of the photo. Had you captured this childs face while on his downward spiral, that would be more of a candid to me. Still, I gave it a 5.
