I agree with this totally, and I'm surprised my entry for the challenge is scoring as well as it has. Shots like these can look nice if you get some variation in color (I like this one better than my challenge one for that reason, but this was taken on the wrong day), but it's a flat picture otherwise. There were much better shots which incorporated more things around them like buildings, reflections in water, etc.
