Silent Sentinelby two_azComment by eqsite: Nice. I wish the moon popped out a little more and was a little higher in the sky, but sometimes we have to work with what we are given. |

Playa Eleganteby two_azComment by Jutilda: Very nice. I think the black and white conversion makes the shot as it really shows off all of the contrasts. |

A Mother's Loveby two_azComment by Falc: Yeah the mothers face is hidden but the real star is the baby, so as a faceless portrait its sort of not true to the spirit of the challenge. I'm not a stickler for the letter of the law, so I'll let that slide by.
The image is nice and soft as it should be, but the only sharp element is the hair of the mother. That feels wrong. My eyes want to rest on the baby, but they keep getting drawn back up. The basic structure of the image is therefore a trouble to me. Its not an easy image to look at in that respect. |

A Mother's Loveby two_azComment by posthumous: ah, in a portrait of a mother we see the baby's face. that says so much about her caring nature. A good wrapping sort of composition emphasizes this theme. 8 |

A Mother's Loveby two_azComment by Melethia: I like this pose alot - what might have been really neat is to have the baby's hand in focus on the shoulder. |

Trois Chimayby two_azComment by lindes: I think you need either more or less DOF for this to work for me... the front and back bottles are just barely soft, and I find that distracting. A lot soft might well be OK, and crisp would work well, but this I have difficulty with. |
