As Lynn said below. Above the left tangerine there is a blip too. But it is a nicely competent photo that bespeaks fresh fruit and makes exotic the fairly ordinary.

I think the contrast of colors and your lighting are both terrific. Maybe voters thought this wasn't centered enough. And perhaps there were too many pieces of fruit on the plate?

Nice lighting. I like that it is so directional. It really rbings out the texture of the orange peels and avoids too much glare.
