Middle ageby IceRockComment by Bebe: One of the three 10's for me. I love the distant picture, and the composition of your frame. I think I might have liked it even more (although I don't believe 11's are possible on this site!) if the model were more relaxed into the arch, perhaps with her arm/hand looking more relaxed as well. |

Middle ageby IceRockComment by Ivo: This shot meets the challenge quite well though I see you had some struggle with the widely varied exposure. A fill flash may have helped to lighten your subject and even out the image. I hope you do well. Good luck. |

Middle ageby IceRockComment by andri: Here we have a good example of the value of fill-flash. The woman and the surrounding 'frame' are simply too dark and you should have used the on-camera flash, or better yet an external flash, to lighten those parts up a bit.
It is often said that the built in flashes in cameras were put there for one reason, to be used as fill-flash to lighten up the foreground during the day and not for using when there is little available light, such as in the evening.
Try it! (If you haven't done so yet). During sunny days you should try to enable the on-board flash when taking pictures of subjects close to the camera (especially people). |

Orkuveitanby IceRockComment by shadow: too much detail without any specific main subject. could have been a great shot if taken from the correct angle. |
