What a wonderful image. Terrific composition. I'm not a huge fan of the elaborate frame but the photo is really well done. The contrast and tonal range is spot on.

Really nice shot! I'd love to see this shot re-edited a little more strongly, to really make it pop, and maybe give it a slightly grungy cartoon look. I love the lighting and the close crop, and the texture of the eye and the highlight is magic. This image is really really cool, but falls just short of a 10 for me. I'd love to do an edit of this image, just for my own practice.

Great detail in the eye and good sharp focus. I think that the pieces of hair in front of the eye are a little distracting.
