There are no surfboards at all in the composition but I can't help but think of the film Endless Summer....I guess mayhap the composition captures the spirit and magic of summer. The sparkle on the ocean, the sailboats in the distance and the group of people relaxing/strolling on the dock all call up the feel of a cool, calm, fun day at the beach.
