Interesting approach to the challenge. (Which did you use by the way?). This could use a bit of straightening but nothing major.

Something about the composition is a little "off". Part of me wants to get rid of some of the stairs however I like the play of shadows/light on them. I guess its the dark area around the lamp that is the problem for me.

I really like this! I had a similar shot and I pulled it from the challenge. I felt the contre-jour might be too subtle for the voters. I hope this one does well. 9 from me.

Once again, landscape is lovely and you are fortunate to be near woods, but you can't feed off of living near nature. Where is the creativity of the shot? What are you focusing on? I see trees. That's all.

The lower dark half of the picture doesn't really add anything, might work better slightly cropped, otherwise a nice strong shot.
