Subjects are out of focus, maybe that was the intent, but it looks like someone picked up my camera phone at a party and took random pictures.

Other than the title, I don't get the connection with the challenge theme. I suppose you were there and were partaking of the titled adult beverage, so maybe you are emotionally connected with the people or the situation. I do like your processing in as much as it reinforces the title. The subjects and their expressions fit into that context. But without that personal connection, the photo isn't very interesting to me.
