I have photographed this sculpture (or a similar one perhaps by the same sculpter) many times trying to get it just right. And I've visited the Palazzo Vechio many more times, just to look at it. Well done. IMO, it's a little dark on my calibrated monitor.

Your probabably pushing your luck a bit here. I am a fan of black & white photography & the use of shadow but to be honest neither of these is helping. The fact that it is not clearly in focus is also not helping but worst of all, you used an ornament. If your going for the brown ribbon, I think you are a contender.

I gave this a 7. The word concept helped push me toward a less literal interpretation of technology. If they wanted a picture of just technology they would have asked ' Do a photograph of technology.' they would not have asked for a photograph that communicates the concept of technology. Underline concept.
