Very interesting perspective! I'm thinking that the current DPC challenge had you looking from the ground up which is a wonderful thing. It is always a good idea to look at your subject from these different angles. That is another aspect of DPC that I really like, it teaches you to look at things with these techniques that you might not think of normally.

I love the texture of the cactus and the "softness" of it. It is like you have shown us a diffent side of the prickly old thing.

This is such an interesting photo...you have taken the distracting man made items in this otherwise natural landscape and told a story with it. Compositionally I love the perspective of the diminishing cacti which leads your eyes right to the more peaceful mountains. Very nice shot!
