Pleasing. A lot of interesting elements here, however the eye is properly drawn to the main subject of the people. If this were advanced editing, I would suggest selectively sharpening the boys and water a little more, perhaps also intensifying their silhouettes. Such scenes are often harder under basic rules.

i have seen quite a few submissions for this challenge with people but this is the first one that I have seen so far where the people Don't seem restrained. Every other image I have seen for this challenge, the people seem so stiff, so this is refreshing to see. Nice capture. nice color. best of luck

We have similar photos in this challenge. Mine is at about 5.5 which I personally think it low. So, I really like your photo and it's certainly more interesting then mine. The moon is a tough thing to photograph in this phase but you've done an almost perfect job especially with basic edit. I'm gonna score your photo at 9.

I really like where you are going with this, you've created a very moody image. Somehow I feel though that the effects could be a little 'tighter' & controlled, somehow making the illumination of the path less obvious. Perhaps this could be done with smoother blending, try using the eraser at 2-3% strength to smooth edges out. Also, is the darkened area in 'overlay' mode? I feel like it looks a bit too gray. If you would be willing to send me a version of the original maybe i could play with it a bit and show you what I was talking about. But you're getting the hang of it! Good luck.
